The Ironwear 1290 Type R safety vest features hi-vis trim, with 2 in hi-vis silver reflective tape over 3 in contrasting fabric and a unique 2 in hi-vis chevron pattern on the back for protection that meets ANSI/ISEA Class 2 standards. This 100% polyester mesh vest is treated with Flame-retardant properties and tested under ASTM D6413 methods to self-extinguish when caught on fire. A 5-point breakaway system is also included for personnel working near moving machinery with risk of entanglement, with an adjustable, wraparound hook and loop closure that can be easily modified for the best fit, as well as a hook and loop front closure for easy on and off. This safety vest is ideal to protect against fire hazards and boost visibility in all but the most demanding applications – from factory workers, utility workers and maintenance workers to jogging, cycling, walking or fishing. To clean, simply handwash in warm water and mild detergent, then leave to air dry. For heavy soiling, gently spot clean with a mild soap. Do NOT machine dry. Do NOT use sanitizers or aggressive cleaning solutions such as bleach or acetone. Employing cleaning methods other than those outlined above may shrink the vest, ruin the reflective tape or dim the coloring below safe standards.
