The Ironwear 1290 Type R safety vest features hi-vis trim, with 2 in hi-vis silver reflective tape over 3 in contrasting fabric and a unique 2 in hi-vis chevron pattern on the back for protection that meets ANSI/ISEA Class 2 standards. This 100% polyester mesh vest also includes a 5-point breakaway system with an adjustable, wraparound hook and loop closure that can be easily modified for the best fit, as well as a hook and loop front closure for easy on and off. This safety vest is ideal for airport technicians, baggage handlers, utility workers, chemical plant workers and any work that requires personnel to be near fast-moving machinery that presents risk of entanglement. It is also appropriate for improving worker visibility in all but the most demanding applications – from construction, high-volume traffic safety, land surveying and off-road assistance to jogging, cycling, walking or fishing. To clean, simply handwash in warm water and mild detergent, then leave to air dry. For heavy soiling, gently spot clean with a mild soap. Do NOT machine dry. Do NOT use sanitizers or aggressive cleaning solutions such as bleach or acetone. Employing cleaning methods other than those outlined above may shrink the vest, ruin the reflective tape or dim the coloring below safe standards.
