The Ironwear 1293 safety vest is designed with maximum visibility and superior snag protection for environments with high traffic and moving machinery. This Type R vest features 2 in silver reflective tape layered over 4 in contrasting fabric that stretches around the arms and torso and over the shoulders and chest pockets for hi-vis protection that meets ANSI/ISEA Class 3 standards. With a 5-point breakaway system, this vest also has hook and loop fasteners at the front and sides and up the length of the sleeves and shoulders that automatically release if caught on mobile equipment. Additional features include 2 hook and loop chest pockets, 2 waist pockets with hook and loop flaps, 2 inner hook and loop waist pockets and 2 radio clip holders at the shoulders, all to promote work performance. This safety vest is ideal for airport technicians, baggage handlers, utility workers, chemical plant workers and any work that requires personnel to be near fast-moving machinery that presents risk of entanglement. It is also appropriate for improving worker visibility in all but the most demanding applications – from construction, high-volume traffic safety, land surveying and off-road assistance to jogging, cycling, walking or fishing. To clean, simply handwash in warm water and mild detergent, then leave to air dry. For heavy soiling, gently spot clean with a mild soap. Do NOT machine dry. Do NOT use sanitizers or aggressive cleaning solutions such as bleach or acetone. Employing cleaning methods other than those outlined above may shrink the vest, ruin the reflective tape or dim the coloring below safe standards.
