THEY ABSORB MOST OF THE ACCUMULATED KINETIC ENERGY ON IMPACT. THEY ACT AS DAMPERS AND PREVENT DAMAGING SHOCK AND REBOUND. THEY ALSO ACT AS SOUND DAMPERS. THESE MOUNTS ARE ALSO USED AS LEVELING FEET.
