Cloning cylinders improve cell production by assuring homogenous cultures and eliminating mixed populations. Cell growth starts in a sterile petri dish and the cylinders are added to isolate specific colonies. Cells are easily removed by adding a small amount of Trypsin, then incubating for a short period.
