Not having to fight with a cord on bigger job sites is the primary reason I purchased the router. Now just the ease of having a nice compact router in the truck that is set up in seconds to do a quick bullnose on deck boards or simply to grab it to plunge cut windows and doors well framing, even a small project.
This tool rocks , the power is definitely equivalent to a corded one ,and to not have the cord get in the way is a serious pro , feels great in the hand , I do a lot of decks and I usually clean up the edges on the 2x4 and railings and to have a cordless cuts my time down significantly.
