Like its predecessor, the Kapro 446-7, the 446-12 has a solid aluminum body, but it is also fully anodized for greater durability, accuracy, and corrosion resistance.The marking are permanently laser etched for longevity and very easy to see. A convenient conversion table is printed on the back of the square, and also functions as a 0degrees-90degrees protractor scale.
