Locking retractable phone and scanner tether, also sold as a ratcheting tool tether or device leash, with a 36-inch cord made with DuPont Kevlar fiber. Super Duty retraction force retracts loads up to 13 oz over a 36-inch (3 ft) reach, keeping a handheld scanner, phone or small tool secured and within reach. The built-in ratchet mechanism locks the cord at 5-inch intervals, so you can pull the tool to working length and use it with no tension pulling back; a light tug releases the lock and the cord retracts. The zinc alloy carabiner clips onto belt loops, work belts, bags and backpacks. A stainless steel spring sits in a 2 inch diameter molded polycarbonate case, and the aramid fiber cord made with DuPont Kevlar has an 80 lb minimum breaking strength.
