Description
Field selectable CCT LED light fixture offers multiple Correlated Color Temperatures CCT choices in a single fixture. This new LED technology allows the user to choose a CCT, ranging from warm to natural to cool, to match the surrounding environment or to preference. Ideal for kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors, hallways museums and more. Frosted lens. Commercial grade. Downlight body and endcaps are both fabricated from aluminum for maximum rigidity. REMEMBER TO SHOP BY LUMENS, NOT WATTS. When upgrading from traditional blubs or fixtures to LED fixtures it is important to shop based on lumens, not watts. Historically consumers looked at wattage to determine how much light output lumens they were purchasing. Lumens per watt can vary based on a manufacturers product design, LED chip technology and other factors. An LED bulb consumes on average at least 50 percent less energy than CFLs and around 80 percent less than mercury. For instance to get the same light output of 500 lumens, you can either use a 40W incandescent bulb, a 9W CFL bulb or a 6W LED bulb. The above examples are industry averages, for more detailed information on this product please refer to our spec sheet. To calculate the lumens output on a blub or fixture you can multiple the Wattage W X Lumens Per Watt LM/W to get the Lumens LM. For example 60W X 140LM/W = 8400LM.
