About Lanyards and Lifelines

Construction and manufacturing may require working in unusual places, sometimes many stories high. It is imperative that employee safety is top of mind in these dangerous situations. Lanyards and lifelines attach to harnesses to safely tether a person to the structure on which they are working. There’s a wide variety of lanyards and lifelines to choose from - those that keep workers safe and those that keep tools in place. OSHA provides regulatory standards for the use of lanyards and lifelines including safe anchorage to structures in the workplace. Be sure to check those standards before choosing harnesses and other safety equipment.
