Description
The Self-Tightening High Precision Keyless Drill Chuck features a capacity of up to 5/8" and a maximum runout of 0.0016". The self-tightening mechanism automatically increases clamping forces in proportion to the torque increase during drilling, preventing tool slippage in clockwise rotation. The integrated machine tapers of the NPU series provide maximum rigidity and accuracy with a shorter projection. Supplemental tightening can be applied with milled flats and included spanner wrench to provide up to three times holding torque to resist tool loosening on machines with instant spindle stop.
