The Airtight and Insulation Contact Rated Housing helps keep your home insulated and Energy Efficient. It features a universal IDEAL connector that allows for quick snap-in connection to NICOR LED downlights and helps improve light efficiency and quality. It’s suitable for residential and commercial applications and features Integral Thermal Guards that protect against Overheating. The 17014AR-LED-ID is also Wet Location Rated when used with Wet Location Rated Downlights and Trims. The housing adjusts from 0.5in. to 1.5in. to accommodate ceiling drywall thickness and its 5.75in. height allows it to be used in 2in. x 6in. joist construction.
