Lynch pins are positioned around the end of an axle to keep a wheel from sliding off. Also spelled as “linch pins,” these locking mechanisms help keep wheels in place, and are typically used on farming machinery, tractors and trailers. Our hitch pin selection features steel construction with a variety of diameters to fit an assortment of axles. Along with locking lynch pins, we have an abundance of other pins for your wheel applications. Spring pins are mechanical fasteners with chamfers on either end, and dowel pins are similar in shape are without chamfers. Our cotter pins have two tines that bend for use and it resembles a staple, while our clevis pins work with a clevis fastener and resemble a bolt.
