This Toolbox Caster kit contains two swivel with brake casters with (5 in. x 2 in.) heavy duty plastic wheels & two rigid Casters with two (5 in. x 2 in.) heavy duty plastic wheels. A combination of swivel & rigid casters provide you the ability to steer your toolbox in a desired direction. This kit also includes 16 one-inch long bolts (5/16), 16 nuts (5/16) & 16 washers to mount the casters to your toolbox or gangbox. Each heavy duty caster in this kit can hold up to 500 lbs. per caster. All four casters together give you a total capacity of 2000 lbs. for all your tools when weight is distributed evenly. These caster gives you an overall height of 6-1/2 inches from the ground.
Plastic caster wheels are solid injected molded polyolefin which yields a high shock load, impact resistant & abrasion resistant wheel. These wheels are lightweight yet hold high weight capacities & are also non-marking. They also are washable, impervious to water & highly resistant to solvents, oils, grease, most chemicals & cleaning solutions. These wheels do not flat spot over time like softer tread wheels. It is because of these many features & economical price point that plastic wheel casters are very popular.
