These V-Belts are designed for light-duty applications principally driven by FHP Fractional-Horse-Power motors. The wrapped construction provides abrasion resistance making the belt more durable and provides protection against contamination. As well wrapped V-belts allow for belt-slip during a torque spike or sudden change in drive speed protecting other drive components and reducing belt snapping.
