Description
Narrow V-Belts are designed to provide efficient power transmission in high-performance and high-load applications where space constraints are a consideration. Their narrow design transmits more power in a given space and allows for more compact drive design than classical section V-belts. This significantly reduces overall drive cost. The wrapped construction provides abrasion resistance making the belt more durable and provides protection against contamination. As well wrapped V-belts allow for belt-slip during a torque spike or sudden change in drive speed protecting other drive components and reducing belt snapping.
