Description
Variable pitch sheaves are unique V-belt pulleys that allow users to continuously adjust the speed. They are designed with movable flanges or sections that can change their position, effectively altering the diameter of the pulley where the belt rides. By adjusting the position of the movable flanges, the effective diameter of the pulley changes, which in turn changes the speed ratio between the input and output shafts of the system.
