Firestop sealant prevents the spread of fire, smoke, hot gasses, and water. A 1-component, general purpose fire-rated sealant for construction joint and penetrations in fire rated walls and floors. Highly intumescent, Water based, non-sag caulking grade heat resistant sealant that is easy to apply as well as retrofit. Cures to an elastomeric seal that is suitable where dynamic movement is expected. Can be applied from a tube, sausage pack, or pail. Applied with a conventional caulking gun, bulk loading gun, or can be troweled from the pail. STC rating 53 and VOC Compliant, Rated for 1, 2 and 3 hours and tested in accordance with the ASTM E814, UL 1479, UL 2079 and ULC-S115-95 test standards. For temperature applications of 120 degrees fahrenheit, providing flexible barrier protection. For interior use and paintable, with excellent freeze-thaw capability.
