The Monoprice 4MP Color247 Bullet IP Camera uses a 1/1.8" progressive scan CMOS sensor to capture video at resolutions up to 2560x1440 at 24 fps. The 4mm fixed lens delivers a 89° horizontal field of view; while the two spotlights provide sufficient illumination to capture video at distances up to 98 feet. A memory card slot accepts microSDTM/microSDHCTM/microSDXCTM cards with capacities up to 128GB (not included). The integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology simplifies connectivity by enabling the transfer of power and data through a single cable. It complies with ONVIF® profiles S and G; making it compatible with a wide range of surveillance devices. It is housed in an IP67-rated enclosure that is suitable for outdoor use. WDR improves on the ability of Back Light Compensation (BLC) and High Light Compensation (HLC) by independently adjusting the intensity of different portions of the image to produce proper lighting intensity across the entire image. Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) Image noise can come from a variety of sources; but is most often associated with low light conditions; resulting in a "grainy" image. This noise not only interferes with the ability to clearly distinguish individual image elements; but also increases the storage space required for any given image. The DNR circuitry uses a digital comb filter to eliminate video noise. Back Light Compensation (BLC) BLC reduces silhouetting; so you can see foreground subjects clearly when positioned in front of a bright background.
