This 12 AWG power extension/conversion cord features a North American NEMA® 5-20P connector on one end and a locking NEMA L5-20R connector on the other end. It is useful for converting a 5-20R power source to a form usable by equipment with an L5-20P plug. Locking L5 plugs can often be found on RVs and boats and provide the security needed to ensure constant power without sudden loss due to an accidental disconnection.
