It allows for movement and balance to keep leg and core muscles engaged while sitting. This stool is designed for use with standing desks. Use it as a regular stool at the low setting; or use it as a perch stool to lean or rest on while standing. This allows sit-stand desk users to take some load off their legs and feet when standing or sitting high. The stool has a non-slip; weighted base that supports the adjustable stem to allow it to tilt; rotate; and pivot. The air-lift piston mechanism provides quick height adjustments; from 19.9" ~ 27.8". The stool is designed to be used with both feet on the floor for balance and even weight support at all times.
