They can be used to display fluid motion or mechanical movements, as well as to view and perform tests in a safe enclosure. Specific uses include fluid sighting on hydraulic tanks, pressure vessels, reservoirs, packaged power equipment, hydraulic lines and dipping. Their use can be applied to any application where oil or fluid inspection is essential. Two or more sights can be mounted so as to indicate high, low or in-between levels ._x000D__x000D_This window sight may be mounted into any corresponding pipe thread. It withstands up to 125 PSI and 225° F ._x000D__x000D_The body of the window sight is constructed of plated steel. The glass viewing sight is secured by a brass retaining ring. A Buna-N o-ring creates a leak tight seal. A nylon washer is seated between the retaining ring and sight to prevent glass abrasion. A stainless steel reflector maximizes liquid level visibility, even in poor light. The reflector will not tarnish, corrode or discolor under the most adverse of conditions ._x000D__x000D_This unit features a 3/8 male NPT mounting thread. It has a 3/4 hex and 15/32 sight diameter.
