The PacTool SS204 Snapper Shear fiber cement siding shear combines our famous precision-machined cutting head with a compact 3/8 inch drive motor. While the SS404 is geared toward the professional, the SS204 is a great lower cost alternative for the non-professional audience who is looking to side a few houses. Designed specifically for 5/16 inch fiber cement siding cutting, the solid steel blades are reversible and fully replaceable. Expected life before replacement is 20,000 linear feet, roughly 15 average houses when used appropriately. The Snapper Shear design actually shears the cement siding rather than cutting it, resulting in an OSHA compatible jobsite, less mess, minimal airborne dust and faster clean-up. This is a corded, 110 volt tool and, when used along with PacTool Gecko Gauges (item SA903), is a fast, efficient way to install fiber cement siding. Replacement blades set is item 40253 for straight cuts and 41253 for curved and circle cuts.
