Insulation Tester

The insulation tester is a multifunctional instrument designed for testing electrical safety in accordance with standards EN 61557 and DIN VDE 0100. It offers many functions specifically designed for the inspection and evaluation of electrical installations. The insulation tester can perform precise measurements of insulation resistance between live parts and grounding. In the RCD test, both Type-A and AC, B, B+, and F-controlled residual current circuit breakers can be efficiently tested, ensuring the proper functioning of these vital protective devices.The insulation tester allows for quick and accurate measurement of loop resistance to ensure that, in the event of a fault current, there is sufficient resistance to ensure a safe shutdown. Additionally, measuring the protective conductor resistance allows for checking the continuity of conductors and connections. A graphical representation of the wiring helps the operator perform measurements accurately. The brightness of the display can be adjusted in 4 levels. An adjustable alarm tone warns of errors or exceeding the limit. The adjustable auto-off time of the insulation tester prevents accidental battery discharge. The device comes with test leads that meet the specific requirements of CAT III / 600 V and CAT IV / 300V. The insulation tester offers a user-friendly interface, clear display elements, and a robust construction to meet the demands in various environments.
