The magnetic stirrer can be used for aqueous solutions up to 10 liters. The magnetic stirrer has a heater that can heat the medium from room temperature up to 230°C / 446°F. The temperature of the stirring liquid is determined with a precise PT1000 temperature sensor. The temperature sensor is mounted on the magnetic stirrer via a laboratory stand. The adjustable values for temperature and stirring speed are changed via buttons on the magnetic stirrer. The data can be read separately via 2 LED displays, so that the laboratory staff always has complete control over the stirring process. In addition to the continuous stirring function, the magnetic stirrer is equipped with a pulse function. This function makes it possible to stir a liquid in defined periods. Furthermore, a soft start prevents the stirring medium from splattering.
