Pipette tips are used in laboratory settings to accurately dispense small volumes of liquid. They are typically made from a flexible plastic material, such as polyethylene or polypropylene, and are designed to fit snugly onto the end of a pipette.

Pipette tips come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and materials. The most common types are universal tips, which are designed to fit most pipettes, and filter tips, which are designed to prevent the contamination of samples.

Pipette tips should be attached to the pipette firmly and securely. The tip should be held vertically, and the liquid should be aspirated slowly. After dispensing the liquid, the tip should be discarded immediately.

Choosing the best pipette tips for your lab depends on a number of factors, including the type of pipette you are using, the volume of liquid you are dispensing, and the type of liquid you are working with.
