Polyethylene Rod LDPE, 1/8 diameter, 30 ft., Natural

Low-Density Polyethylene LDPE is used in some underhood areas such as windshield washer bottles and radiator overflow tanks. In non-automotive applications, it is used on ATV fenders, kayaks, canoes, dirt bike fenders and gas tanks, motor home water tanks, and agricultural water/fertilizer tanks. Because Polyethylene is very waxy, it is almost impossible to get quality repairs using adhesives. Welding is the best repair method for polyethylene. Polyethylene is naturally a translucent white color. No pigment has been added to make less visible repairs when welding natural polyethylene parts. This package contains 30 ft. 9.1 m of natural low-density polyethylene LDPE welding rod. Each rod is 12 inches 30 cm long and 1/8th inch 3 mm diameter and there are 30 rods in each pack. Works with airless, hot-air, and nitrogen plastic welders.|Rod diameter fits perfectly into the standard welding tip of Polyvance's Mini-Weld Airless Plastic Welder.
