Description
The 13in cast iron bed extension is designed exclusively for the PM2014B Woodworking Lathe (PM1-482 and PM1-483), increasing the distance between centers from 20 inches to 33 inches when mounted level with the lathe bed. The bed extension is constructed from heavy cast iron, maintaining the stability and vibration-damping properties of the PM2014B platform. It mounts to the outboard end of the lathe bed and can be positioned level for extended spindle work or lowered to accommodate outboard turning. A post extender is included. When the extension is mounted in the lowered position for outboard turning, the post extender raises the tool rest to the correct centerline height for proper tool control and operator safety.
