The Presto induction compatible pressure canner is the only full-sized consumer pressure canner that works on an induction range. Its extra-large 23-quart size is designed for easy, confident pressure canning the only method recommended safe by the U.S. Department of Agriculture for canning vegetables, meats, poultry, and seafood. It doubles as a boiling water canner for preserving fruits, jams, jellies, pickles, and salsa in half-pint, pint, and quart jars. Canner is constructed of heavy-gauge aluminum with an induction compatible stainless steel-clad base for fast, even heating. It works on gas, electric, smooth-top, and induction ranges.* The deluxe pressure gauge registers precise processing pressures, which are especially important in high altitude areas. The special air vent/cover lock allows pressure to build only when the cover is closed properly and prevents the cover from being opened until pressure is safely reduced. It also gives a visual indication of pressure inside the canner. Canner is versatile too! Use it as a large capacity pressure cooker for preparing meats, poultry, soups, desserts and more.
