They are designed specifically for use on metal-framed, horizontal sliding windows that were built by Superior Window Manufacturer. These sliding window latch & pulls feature a design that enables them to be adjustable, allowing you to mount them at the desired height. The handles of these window locks are self-latching and require only for the active panel to be pushed closed for the latch to self-engage and lock. Adding a second lock to your horizontal sliding windows, like these locks, will help increase the security of your home and can provide a bit more of peace-of-mind.
