This is a solid brass keeper with steel chain door guard and slide bolt. Typically these are used on inswing doors that you may want extra security on. With this door guard properly installed you can safely and securely either vent the room or open your door slightly. All the necessary mounting hardware is included for a quick and easy installation. Additionally this can be used as a child safety lock if mounted high enough for your child to not be able to reach. The sliding bolt secures your door closed and allows unlocking from the inside only.
