This is an aluminum latch bolt guard plate. Used for both inswinging and outswinging doors. Helps to protect against pry bar and other forms of unwanted forced entry. Inswing application will require some mortising to your jamb. Constructed from extruded aluminum and it comes in a gold anodized finish. All necessary mounting hardware is included for a quick and easy installation.
