This is a utility compression spring that is designed for use with hanging swinging porch swings, but can be used in a variety of different applications. It comes in a constructed of spring steel A 236 music wire that has a diameter of 0.277 in. and comes in a nickel plated finish. Dimension of the spring are an outside diameter of 1-9/16 in., with a 7-3/4 in. overall length. The porch spring also features an internal clip compression of 352 lb. maximum capacity. Make sure to replace springs for a porch swing in sets of 2 for best operation of the swing.
