This SWISS+TECH Touch Smart Fingerprint Deadbolt Lock is constructed of zinc and comes in a satin nickel finish. These entry door Smart locks are loaded with multiple features designed to help increase the security of your home. Unlike most deadbolt locks that operate solely with a single key, these electronic deadbolts feature a 3-in-1 gatekeeper configuration, which enables them to combine fingerprint access, pin-entry on a keypad, in addition to the use of the brass keys to unlock the door. Upon leaving, these fingerprint-reading locks can lock the door at the touch of a finger, and each lock has the ability to store up to 240 different fingerprint codes, often used for family members and frequent visitors. The storage capacity of these Smart locks also allows for up to 25 different pin codes and 4 one-time codes. Seasoned criminals master breaking and entering with minimal noise to enter a dwelling undetected, but these (4 AA) battery-operated deadbolt locks come equipped with a Tamper Alert alarm system that triggers when attempts to interfere or damage occurs. These digital locks also feature a Security Freeze Mode that automatically freezes for five minutes after five invalid pin code entries, or when five invalid fingerprints have been scanned. The Security Guiding Code is another protective measure included with this lock, which allows the user to punch in a 4-digit random code prior to the actual pin number, to prevent revealing the code to any peering bystander. This SWISS+TECH Touch Smart Fingerprint Deadbolt Lock is easy to install and can be used on a door thickness ranging from 1-1/2 inch to 2-inch thick.
