The Ball End Bits are used primarily for adding channels for piping or cables into wood products. The channel has to be made in a single pass because of the geometry of a profile. To ease the cutting force required an upshear, downshear, or straight flute bit can remove a large amount of initial material. Best suited for wood and wood based materials. This bit can be used on point-to-point machines, router tables and handheld routers.
