Slow Spiral Upcut router bits are used when the top surface of the material doesn't need to have an excellent finish. the Slow Spiral geometry facilitates excellent finish in hardwoods, solid surface, HDPE, LDPE, HPL and other hard plastics. Upshear bits if used to part material leave excellent finish on the bottom of the panel. Upshear router bits are preferred when chip evacuation is most important.
