The footrest extender secures to the wheelchair footrest for improved posture prevents foot drop feet from slipping behind the footrests and raises the footrest for improved posture and seating alignment. The cushioned back protects the lower leg from bruises resulting from wheelchair contact. It secures easily with quick-release straps and is covered in durable wipe-clean vinyl. The cushions are removable to accommodate heights of from one to four inches and this model is the 2in height variation and accommodates 16-18in wide wheelchairs.
