- This under-cowl, inline fuel filter fits many Mercury and Mariner outboards replacing contaminated filters and is mounted under the engine cowl. It also fits in specific MerCruiser fuel filter housing. It fits the filter housings for Verado L4, L6 (serial No. 2B144122 and below). It fits 1. 5L and 3. 0L outboards using a vapor separator system with top screw in filters. It also fits MerCruiser 4. 5L and 6. 2L engines (serial No. 2A456613 and newer. Donâ„¢t let water moisture or other fuel contaminants rob horsepower from your engine. Filter those particles before they can get to your engine. Two micron fuel filter element removes damaging or performance robbing fuel born contaminants. Produced to meet Mercury Marine original equipment manufacturer specifications to best protect your outboard or stern drive engine. Fits under the outboard engine cowl or in the engine fuel filter housing for stern drive engines. Screw in type replacement element.
