Buna N Seal Kit

Reelcraft SK600888-1 Buna N Seal Replacement Kit Procedure: Disassembly: 1. Utilizing a retaining righ pliers, remove retaining ring from itfts groove and discard. Do not damage retaining ring groove on shaft2. Remove shaft from housing3. Utilizing a scribe, remove primary O-rings, being careful not to damage O-ring groove surfaces. If applicable, the port O-ring shall also be removed.4. Upon disassembly, examine shaft for excessive wear. Examine housing bore for nicks and scratches. If excessive wear, scratches, or nicks are present the swivel is not repairable and should be replaced.5. Thoroughly clean shaft and housing.Assembly: 1. Coat primary O-rings with oil and install into grooves on shaft. If applicable, install port O-ring over threads.2. Insert shaft into housing and secure using retaining ring.3. Inspect to insure retaining ring is fully positioned in groove
