Description

The RIDGID 15722 pipe threader is a portable power threading system. This configuration operates at 57 RPM. The unit is powered by a 1/2 HP reversible universal motor.

Performance and Capacity:

  • Motor: 1/2 HP, 115V, 18A, Single-Phase. Mechanical Configuration:
    • Chuck: Manual speed chuck with replaceable, rocker-action jaw inserts that grip the pipe securely during rotation.
    • Rear Centering Device: A cam-action device that rotates with the chuck to maintain alignment.
    • Oiling System: Includes an oiler, a manual hand-pump system with a 1-gallon reservoir.
    • Support Structure: Two support bars provide a stable carriage for the cutter, reamer, and die head. Portability and Setup:
      • Transport: Includes a wheeled cart that allows the machine to be moved without disassembly.
      • Stand: Equipped with a stand, which provides a stable working height and collapses for transport.
      • Switching: Controlled by a recessed Forward/Off/Reverse switch and an integrated safety foot switch.
