Rubber-Cal’s General Purpose Rubber is a durable and affordable high density rubber sheet that can be used for a vast number of applications. Made from tough and reliable styrene butadiene rubber, this black rubber sheeting has a durometer of 50A to give it a firm surface with a fair amount of pliability. The soft rubber sheets are still tough enough to resist most indentations without sacrificing their flexible nature. The elastomer sheeting has been through a chemical heating process called vulcanization, increasing its durability and giving it a smooth and solid finish. SBR synthetic rubber is best known for its high abrasion resistance, making it a great material for industrial, commercial, and residential applications alike.
