Our neoprene sheeting is actually a powerful compound made up of styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) and chloroprene rubber (CR) to inherit the strengths of both synthetic rubber materials. This mix of synthetic elastomers gives the neoprene sheet a moderate resistance to oils, chemicals, and many damaging effects of weather. This 1/32” neoprene is the thinnest option available and works best in highly detailed or delicate applications. Different applications may also require varying levels of neoprene hardness. This hard sheet rubber has a durometer of 60A, giving it a hard surface and a moderate amount of flexibility. The 60-durometer neoprene is stiff yet pliable, and works best in highly abrasive applications such as neoprene pads or bumpers.
