Our sheet neoprene is actually a powerful synthetic rubber compound made up of styrene butadiene rubber and chloroprene (neoprene) to inherit the strengths of both rubber materials. Thanks to this mix of synthetic elastomers, the neoprene sheet has a moderate resistance to oils, chemicals, and many damaging effects of weather. Our heavy-duty neoprene comes in several different gauges, lengths, and widths to ensure the proper fit for any desired application. Different applications may also require varying levels of neoprene shore hardness. This neoprene sheet has a durometer of 80 shore A to give it a stiff and hard surface with extremely limited flexibility. The 80-durometer neoprene is heavy-duty and works best in highly abrasive applications such as neoprene lining or pads.
