Description

Ruland four beam couplings are zero-backlash and have a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds up to 6,000 RPM. This MW-series beam coupling is machined from a single piece of stainless steel and features two sets of two spiral cuts allowing for higher torque capacity and lower windup than single beam couplings. It has pure metric outer diameter and length dimensions to fit in a smaller envelope than Ruland P-series beam couplings for easier interchanges with single beam couplings. This coupling is clamp style and has 0.250" x 0.250" bores, 0.787" (20.0mm) OD, and 1.102" (28.0mm) length. Stainless steel is used for higher torque capabilities than aluminum versions, however the coupling will have significantly higher inertia. This coupling is best suited for encoders. Hardware is metric and tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum torque capabilities. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
