4-Beam Clamp Coupling, Bores 0.375"x0.250", OD 0.984", Aluminum

Ruland four beam couplings are zero-backlash and have a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds up to 6,000 RPM. This MW-series beam coupling is machined from a single piece of aluminum and features two sets of two spiral cuts allowing for higher torque capacity and lower windup than single beam couplings. It has pure metric outer diameter and length dimensions to fit in a smaller envelope than Ruland P-series beam couplings for easier interchanges with single beam couplings. This coupling is clamp style and has 0.375" x 0.250" bores, 0.984" (25.0mm) OD, and 1.181" (30.0mm) length. The use of 7075 aluminum creates a lightweight low inertia coupling that is best suited for encoders. Hardware is metric and tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum torque capabilities. This four beam coupling is RoHS and REACH compliant.
