Sakura changed the game by making the first gel ink pen in the 1980's. Their famous Gelly Roll series now has 20 colors, including 5 bright fluorescents, and 5 shades of gray. The Moonlight version works great on both light and dark papers because of its paint-like ink. With both fine and bold tips, the smooth, thick ink is great for journaling, decorating cards, drawing patterns, or adding details. The larger Bold 10 tip is perfect for coloring and effects that look like paint, while the Fine 06 tip dries quickly to avoid smudges. All the colors look bright on white paper and really stand out on black paper. Sakura also has the most neutral gray shades for adding things like shadows and details to your art. There are two kinds of Moonlight ink: archival and fluorescent. The archival type is made with pigment ink thats stable, waterproof, and won't fade. The fluorescent type can fade in sunlight but will glow under black light.
