The SaltDogg SHPE0750 Series is a vehicle battery-powered, electric drive poly hopper spreader designed for snow removal and de-icing applications. This broadcast spreader is engineered for use with 1/2-ton pickup trucks or utility vehicles (UTVs) with a minimum payload capacity of 500 lbs.

Performance and Capacity:

• Hopper Capacity: Features a 0.65 cubic yard (approximately 20.25 cu. ft.) capacity polyethylene hopper.
• Recommended Materials: Fine salt, dry coarse salt, and sand/salt mixes up to a 50/50 ratio.
• Spread Range: Delivers a broadcast spread width ranging from 5 to 30 feet.
• Drive Mechanism: Utilizes a horizontal stainless steel auger to feed material to a 14-inch polyethylene spinner. Construction and Hardware:
  • Durable Materials: Constructed with a double-wall polyethylene hopper and a stainless steel frame.
  • Mounting and Transport: Includes four ratchet tie-down straps for secure bed mounting and integrated forklift slots for easier loading and unloading. Operation and Control:
    • Independent Speed Control: Equipped with a cab-mounted, dual independent speed controller that allows the operator to adjust the auger and spinner speeds separately.
    • Flow Assistance: Includes a 200 lb. 12VDC vibrator to help maintain consistent material flow and prevent bridging in the hopper.
    • Pattern Adjustment: The spread direction can be adjusted by rotating the shield on the chute assembly.
