Touch mode (1-60 sec.) and hands free (1-60 min).Supplied with a cup head for vortexing individual tubes and a 3'' platform head designed for use with beakers or flasks. Vortex-Genie 2 and 2T feature a constant on or instatouch switch, adjustable speed control, heavy duty 9 pound cast iron base with rubber feet for stability.Mixing heads quickly snap on an off to accommodate flasks, tubes, beakers, micro-tubes and 96-well plates. When combined with the Vortex-Genie 2 and 2T, they provide a full range of mixing and shaking capabilities. Test tube adapter accepts tubes from 10mm to 37mm diameter. Holds 4 to 8 tubes depending upon size. A recessed beaker platform firmly holds beaker for continuous vortexing or shaking. Elastic belts securely fasten various sizes of flasks.
