The ixa-fm20 fan mounts are made of a proprietary silicone based vibration dampening material that decouples fan motor vibration from your case. Very simple to install, it is designed to prevent fan motor vibrations from resonating with your case, which can emit an irritating low frequency noise. Simply remove the screws on your existing fans and swap out for these mounts and say adios to motor vibration.
