This pressure-check mattress is the ultimate medical mattress that provides pressure relief, redistribution, comfort and also reduces shear forces. This mattress is comprised of cubes of foam that moves as the residents moves, thereby reducing shear forces. They also facilitate in redistributing the forces and thereby lowering interface pressures. The cubes vary in size and are customized to optimize pressure relief in the three critical zones, namely upper, middle and heel area. The mattress life is extended by using a high-density base foam. As a result, a seven-year, non-prorated replacement foam components is offered. A wipe-clean low-shear ii, liquid resistant stretch cover is included.
